I always loved seeing surfboats rowing out through the waves, and surfing waves back to the beach. When the surf is large it becomes quite spectacular. This scene is taken from a photo I took of a boat training along Cronulla beach near Greenhills and the buildings of cronulla can be seen back across the curve of the beach. oil on cradled wood panel, 2 cm sides painted black and a wire across the back for hanging.
