Snapper island is a small Island along side its larger islands Cockatoo island and Spectacle Island in Sydney Harbour. Technically they should be described as in Parramatta river as this is about where the river and Harbour join. The Island is controlled buy the navy, and is across from the Drummoyne Sailing club.
