Opera House, Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay,I left home at 16 and traveled to Sydney in 1972. The opera house wasn't completed at that time and opened in 1973.

It wasn't until about 23 years ago when i moved back to Sydney to live and bought a boat that i fell in love with this building. Seeing it from the water, travelling around it and mooring in Farm cove over night, watching fireworks each new years eve centered around the Opera House and the Bridge, attending concerts inside it, and walking around and through it, i never tire of the beauty and the imposing nature of its architecture.

this is the view of it across Circular Quay. Private vessels are not allowed into Circular Quay so this is a view I wouldn't often see.
